Movement with Purpose
There are two kinds of energy: Mental and physical.
After school, mental energy dips, often leading to screen time or unproductive downtime. On the other hand, physical energy is unspent during the school day, leading to restlessness.
Kids need to move, connect and reset. That is why we end each session with purposeful indoor sport that builds teamwork, resilience and overall fitness.
Led by an Experienced Educator
TrainIQ Academy is run by a DBS checked tutor and national level athlete with over 7 years of experience supporting learners throughout their primary years.
We have put all the essential policies in place, from safeguarding and data protection to behaviour policies and codes of conduct, to ensure a safe, transparent and trusted environment for every child.
What's Included
TrainIQ sessions run every Saturday from 8:30am to 10:30am at Shenley Brook End School.

Hour 1 (Classroom)
✔ Small groups (max 12 per group)
✔ Complete school homework with guided support
✔ Consistent Maths and English tuition when homework is completed or not available
Hour 2 (Sports hall)
✔ Structured indoor sport rotated every week - Handball, Danish Longball, Football and more
✔ 30 minutes of drills, building core skills - coordination, teamwork, and spatial awareness
✔ 30 minutes of game time, improving overall fitness

FAQs
What should my child bring?
Just school homework (if they have any), a pencil case, a filled water bottle, and comfortable trainers. All worksheets are provided.
What if my child doesn’t have any homework?
We’ll provide tailored Maths and English worksheets to make sure their academic time is still productive.
How many children are in each group?
We keep our groups small, a maximum of 12 children per session, to ensure personalised support and plenty of space to move.
Who runs the sessions?
Sessions are led by a DBS-checked tutor with 7+ years’ experience and national-level sports background.
How do payments work?
Once you register your interest, we’ll be in touch to confirm your place and share full details. Your first session is always a free trial, and sessions will be charged monthly after you've enrolled with us.
Do you offer a free trial?
Yes. Your child’s first session is completely free. Just register your interest on this page or send us an email and we'll get back to you within 24 hours to confirm availability.
How do I book a place?

Can my child join mid-term?
Yes, you may send us a message or email and we will get back to you to discuss options for joining after October 1st.
